(Day three of Alan Baxter's Blog Tour)
Only 1046 words in a week - not great, but at least I'm moving forward. I've also written up the review for the second book in the Dexter Omnibus and got a fair bit of reading done. I have a couple of weeks to finish two more Dexter books and two or three other fantasy books. I don't like my chances of reaching those deadlines. Still, I've read four books in a touch under four weeks - not bad.

Any words are better than no words - go you.
ReplyDeleteMuch better than no words.
ReplyDeleteProgress is progress. End of story. Plus, you're reading a heck of a lot more than I am.
ReplyDeleteI concur with the above notes.
ReplyDeleteYep - I concur as well but I'd still like to have accomplished more. I found an intersting article about the timelines of mastering this craft, explaining why debut authors tend to be over 30 (or later depending on when they started this journey) which allys some of those fears of not progressing as quick as I'd like, but it always feels like I'm not doing enough.
ReplyDeleteStill, like you all say, some forward movement is better than none. Thanks.
