Obviously there will be lots of competition for places here. Reading period is July 1, 2009 - March 31, 2010, so remember the first rule of thumb when submitting to anthologies - submit early when the editor is not jaded or spoilt for choice.

I saw that last night and I wish they took reprints. I've got a perfect story for them.
ReplyDeleteWait, it says "very selective" reprints. Hmm. Can't hurt to query when they open, although it would be even better to write a new story so awesome the editor breaks down and cries with joy when he reads it.
No harm in query a reprint - and definitely no harm in writing something new and gut wrenching.
